Description
Also known as Galanga or Lesser Galangal. Dried galangal has an aromatic odor and a sweet, light peppery-ginger-bite. It is primarily used in Southeast Asian cuisine for curries, jellies, and drinks. Galangal is cut into about 1/4-inch pieces, with some variation in cut size.
